I am a Muslim, and I believe in God If you don't believe in Him, then that is your decision. some of the comments in this poll have been quite disrespectful to Christianity- i may not believe in the Bible in its entirety, but i certainly wouldn't say its a "bunch of crap" peace and love!
Whelp . . . . . I'm not a Christian, but I do believe in God. Too much is unexplainable and left up to chance when it comes to science (not that that doesn't apply to Christianity either). Another thing - those who believe in Evolution must also believe that when we die, we're gone. I myself shudder at the mere thought of that. Isn't it better to lead a good life, be kind to others and at least HOPE there is something more after death than eternal oblivion?
Scientifically speaking.... Like the way we create things and inventions and other stuff. There is/ was someone who created us. so Yeah, I believe in God.
I'm sorta agnostic, with a christian inflection. I believe there is A god and that he is loving and caring, and that many christian ideals are a great way to live your life (but NOT necessary to go to heaven). I hoestly believe that its awful arrogant of people to claim they know the one true god and to have to name him (Jesus, Mohammad, Yahweh, whatever) I also find that the bible is a terribly inaccurate and hypocritical basis of religion, though if you sift through it enough you'll find many a true leeson. But god so did not make hte world in literaly 7 days, Adam and Eve were so not the first human beings, and we so evolved from animals. Not only has science proven otherwise, but God, being all powerful and whatnot, would've taken the long way to making us. He would've done it slowly and meticulously. After all, we're suppose to be his favorites, so why wouldn't he take his time to do it right? That's what I think anyway.
From what I've learnt, there are missing links in the theory that we've evolved from animals. Darwin came up with a pretty brilliant theory, but there were still a few gaps that couldn't be explained (don't tell me off too much if I'm completely wrong - I barely know what I'm talking about).
Why would I tell you off? Thats just silly! I'm open to other people's opinions, as long as you A) Have some sort of scientific backing (evidence), or B) You acknowlegde that you do not have anything to back it up. As long as you aren't spouting garbage without reason, or at least the decency to clarify its just your opinion than I'm happy to hear what you have to say.
