No, not really... but sure, comments are always appreciated! -but I tend to get tired of all +fav's directed to my "less deserved" works, such as my half-assed wip-pics, and the ones based on other's works ^{(someone else's lines + my colours)}...
Guess I'll have to step it up a notch, get more creative/original etc... and of course, put up new stuff waaaay more often!

Honestly I could go either way since I'm the same. I like the favs, but if I ask for criticism, I want a response. It's fine if I get comments for my work too, but sometimes all the comments you get just all end up saying the same message over and over again and that's when comments just begin to become a nuisance. Plus I find faving more convenient if you feel you don't need to explain yourself and the fav. is just enough. Also if say you have like 300 deviations to look at and don't have the time to comment on them all, just a good is more than enough to show that you appreciate their work.

well, if i commented on every fav i have, i would have like millions of comments because there are so many good artists and pictures on DA, such as yourself

critiques are always welcome, and favs are always appreciated, but its the stupid comments that drive me nuts. (nice, cool, awesome, etc)

I think to get a fave is nice but I like critique much more!! how can you get better when you get your pictures faved but noone ever says what they think is good about it?... I came to DA b e c a u s e I wanted to help other artists with my comments and get myself some tips aswell.

To me, a fav is a compliment, so I don't really care if they comment or not. But I do like reading what people think about my work too.

I don't really care, but it would be nice to get some more comments! xD
