TEPIG. Because his final evolution.... IS BADASS.

Hnn.... I'm not crazy about any of them honestly.... But beings I'm a firewhore I'd probably end up using Tepig :/ or maybe Oshawott.

with Blaziken being an exception, I always choose the water type, it can learn Ice, trumping the grass-type advantage, and giving me a (rare) edge on dragon types

i rolled tepig "teh pig" because it was dual type, and because i knew everyone else was going to get oshawott/snivy.

also, since red/blue (and their remakes) the grass starter has only been grass and not grass/poison like bulbasaur's family--- the dual type of tepig's later stages helped motivate my choice. reminded me of blaziken. and i loved that flare blitz

I got pkmn white for zekrom and started with oshawott everyone chooses snivy cuz it looks kewl, i chose oshawott to dewott to look like a ninja + i like emboars from tepig

I got Black, and pretty much the entire game focused on enemies my Tepig could beat. Plus, being the only dual-type helped. Really, the only trouble I had with him was Gym #1, which is customized against your starter.
