Spidralisk

Half spider, half dragon, and half awesome. What do you get, you get a spidralisk. Im not really sure if that name has been used because as far as i know i made it up, so right now it can be a working title. Anyways, ive been trying to come up with a cool spider dragon concept for awhile and this is the fruit of my labor. Its about 30 feet long and roughly 10 feet tall. It spits webbing, this web is used for making fire proff clothing and can be added to molten steel increase its durability and make it fire retardent. Though flightless the spidralisk is capable of moving through dense canopies and harsh rock formations with amazing grace. The spidralisk bears little resemblence to all other species of dragon except to the southern canopy dragon. This is because it is a cousin to the southern canopy dragon, though through evolution on an isolated island it developed an extra set of limbs and a highly poisonous barb upon the end of its tail. These dragons build up large supplies of their web in large pouches housed in the throat, the spike like scale will point at a 90 degree angle from the skin once the sacs are filled. This causes the dragon great pain if these sacs are completely filled for to long, they release this webbing to build elaborate dwellings or disable would be threats. This dragon is made the equal to any other offensive based species as the poison it release from its tail can paralyze or kill large species of wyvern with ease.
