Well i saw Cloverfield again today with a sketchbook. I sketched a lot and got some amazing insights into his design. No, his tail is not very long, i checked for that especially because so many drawings id seen had a long tail. I came to the conclusion that his elbow joints are two way, which explains how many angles they can achieve. His second set of arms end in a fin like apendage, much like some crustaceons. I got a great look at his face design and i sketched it accurately but its kinda hard to tell in this piece. More cloverfield sketches to come.

yeah...saw this 2day...nothin quite like it...alot of people seem not to enjoy it as much did. they've no taste in a different style of cinematography.

Basically i think cloverfield is just a whole new thing, its not so much a movie as it is an experience. This felt more real than anyother movie ive ever seen.
