Rufous Grimkite by arvalis Rufous Grimkite by arvalis
Been practicing dromeosaurs for a project this week and I wanted to apply what I learned to a dragon design.  I call this thing a Rufous Grimkite.  It is a medium sized feathered dragon that mostly feeds on animals in grasslands and lightly wooded areas.  Males are very dangerous and highly aggressive, often attacking travelers unprovoked.  Females are roughly one third smaller with very small horns, barely poking from beneath the fleshy mounds atop the head.  Their feathers are traded in exotic markets, prized for their patterns and rufous color.
