Here are few speedpaints I've been doing using my realistic pokemon redesigns. I'd like to do a fair bit of these and pick a couple to take to a finished painting stage. Its greatly liberating to put these designs in environments. Are there any scenarios you would like to see some of my realistic designs in?
If I had to choose I'd say Flygon and Dragonite. Flygon just looks the most at home in his environment and has the most personality. Dragonite I love because it's the only picture in the group that actually continues after the moment it conveys. The mind runs wild with what you expect to happen next.
first of all i have to say that i love your paintings in general. you have the great gift to let pokemon appear so realistic they could be real, what for me is stunning because i always was a big fan of pokemon and imagined to live in their world but had trouble to imagine them in another, more realistic way, like they would appear if not drawn in this manga/comic style which in my opinion gets stronger every new generation of pokemon... anyway, now seeing these pokemon not only in a realistic form but also in a realistic enviorment makes me go nuts!!!
so i'd love to see some pokemon in woods, like in the left one with dragonite. doesn't matter which pokemon (well the one who live there obviusly ) and here some pokemon i'd also love to see in there natural enviorment (what ever it is): zoroark, dragonite, charizard, bulbasaur, meganium
I love this, I think it is probably your most appealing pokemon drawing, just because of how much more alive the animals see when put into an environment. Here are some suggestions that I would love to see:
