This is my female version of Death, notice the scythe cane. Her name is Ollia for those that care. This is another design where i could have easily gone with something over the top manly and vicious but i wanted a more elegant look. Ive never really designed many dresses, it kinda shows, but i had fun with this design.
I wish I could give you some crit but I am faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr below any ability that I've seen here and quite honestly if I said a damn thing it'd make me feel like a hypocrite not being able to do it myself lol!
Either way, I've enjoyed your gallery to the fullest with this being the last one I had to view in the entire gallery.
On an odd side note. I took a 3D class and we got told to model an ear, when I googled ear an ear on a mouse came up and I got commendations for it but the teacher had to fail it for not being 'friendly' and including something they interpreted as scientifically grotesque. Are there times you have to deal with this kinda thing? If so, how did you deal with them?
Generally when I try to go in a more unique direction, I get commended for it. For homework once, we had to do a still life oil painting of an egg. I had my eggs sit in the jaws of a little t-rex skull I had lol.
i like this piece a lot i don't often see death in that kind of way or form...usually you see some boney guy wearing a black robe wondering about, but this one is interesting, i love how she looks human still and face is just soooo cool then the dress ~claps~ then finely the blond hair, it always black i see when it comes to death or sometimes pure white. i love this piece
Those shoe's are intense. Does she have to replace the flowers after they die or do this not die? O_O because they're fake!? haha I don't know how to feel about the thick cuffs, are they hollow or padded all the way to her wrists? Also is the dress several pieces or all in one? The design peeking over the edge of her breasts, is it lace or a part of a wire? Sorry for all the questions just curious.
