Just completed this illustration for the cover of brandon-bowling's book.  This one took a mighty long time.  Do you want to learn how I painted scales like this or illustrated the ceratosaurus, just take this handy class!

lol does every one of your da art peices comes with a comerical ad saying draw like me for the low low price of actual cash! cause if it does my respect for you went down a bit. Regardless of money i could never draw like that. you have catual talent but instead of selling your art you decide to try and teach people how to draw...On deviant art... a place that has more talented artists then an entire convention.

I worked very hard on making my art class and I think it can help many artists on dA.  Plus I get questions all the time asking how I do this or that, so its just easier to direct them to that.  Not to mention I spent a fortune on my education, so $19 for a lot of the lessons I picked up in art school is a pretty good deal.  Your last bit, are you implying that most people on deviantart are excellent artists?  From my experience most people on dA are still young and learning, and my class is perfect for many of them.

i was implying that putting up a link that asks for people to go to your specific art class and pay money just seems idk... kinda wrong. i mean if i ever poat anything of my wood carvings i would not feel inclined to ask people to pay me for me to show them how i did it. i would probably make a video of me doing said piece and post it on youtube so they can see it. Granted i could never afford to go to collage and i have a job so im not as pressed for money that you might have but still... i mean couldn't you at least make it sound more sincere by saying 'hey if you want to learn how to do this one piece come take a free lesson or watch this video for said piece and if you like what you see come to my class and pay a small price to learn even more art techniques?" instead of like my art? here pay me money so i can show you. and again im sorry i did not know that you were pressed for money and my arrogance got the better of me but aside that my point still stands. granted i know have a better understanding why you do what you do, but im still gonna spout my opinion like an overheated hedgehog.

Look at most of the pro artists, they always link to their prints or something.  I am in no way obligated to give away knowledge for free, I already post my art for free.

actually your the first artist ive seen thus far to ask for money on da unless someone is saying they can PURCHASE their art. as in you know buy a painting. and that's mighty generous of you to allow people to view your art for free and all. i mean i guess this would be the wrong site for you if you wanted us poor common folk to pay to see your grand art that's just so amazing.
