This was done for my buddy ~Takeru409 as a design so he could model it for his demo reel. All i got for a prompt was "creature boss" and i ended up here. It started as a sphinx, i promise. You can see all the silhouettes i did to get an interesting design. This might be the most strange design ive ever done, excluding my human centitaur. Well guys i hope you like it.

Wow, I really like this. It looks like a really strong 3D image from a distance, and close up I can see all these little details, that must have been painstaking. I also love that you have such a broad range of tones even though it's one colour.

Something I enjoy the most about art is seeing the journey and judging by all the concept silhouettes I could tell you had fun coming up with all these different possibilities. Do you have particular interests to inspire this? Not many would think this immediately upon hearing "boss monster".
