Me too dreamed of Stegosaurus or something that with a red crest and blue stuff. They still exist.
This is was my child's drawing vihor405.deviantart.com/art/Di…

I absolutely love all of your pictures. The colours you chose for the dinosaur are so beautiful, and I like the nightsky-background. Please keep up the great work!

So glad you did the idea of the porcupine quills on the animal!
I was super excited when I read that it's believed triceratops either had quills or possibly poison or whatnot due to odd skin bumps :3

Very cool work! But in what language does Karablo mean "Horned Golden-Beaked" ? Its not Latin.

:iconarvalis:

Most dinosaur names are amalgams of words from ancient greek and latin or any combination of the two.

Are these dinosaur species you made up, or are they real?

Also, when was it confirmed that large ceratopsians also had quills on their tails?

:iconarvalis:

I made these up. The quills here were extrapolated from the psittacosaurus example.

But wasn't Psittacosaurus a proceratopsian? It wasn't the large, frilled kind. I've been seeing a lot of paleoart recently portraying large ceratopsians with quills, so...

Kudos to yet another awesome 'Dinosaur!' The color scheme is cool, the background complements the animal well, and I like the Rhinoceros motif it's got to it (something about the face kinda suggests warthog influence to me as well.) You've also clearly done your research, and it shows in your work. Proper foot anatomy, some nice quills, little things that someone like me always likes to see incorporated into Dinosaur art. Interested to see any more you might have in store!

Really love the fact that you included the more recent discover of the scutes on the stomach of the triceratops ( and presumably other ceratopsids ) and the strange anchor points for quills on the tail. Great stuff.

It's cool that you're releasing all this great dino artwork right around the time I randomly start re-watching Jurassic Park on my phone when I'm out and about and sketching dinosaurs. Very inspirational, and awesome stuff.

Dang man, what's more admirable than your skills is your ability to stay motivated. I wish I knew how or what do you do to sit in front of that screen for hours drawing multiple things away, you never seem to need a break from it and it's crazy when I compare them to my own habits.
Your name is going to be in the hall of art legends soon enough mang :)

I love the idea that dinosaurs had such brilliant colours. We had always assumed that they were brown and grey like oddly shaped elephants, though since the discovery of the red velocoraptor feather it has given us some more artistic license. :)
