Holy Effing Crap! This beast took foreeeeeever. Easily the biggest project ive completed to date. Anyways.....

This started out as some shitty pen sketch that i doodle'd out in early january. You can see the original here [link] . I kept saying, "i really like this, but ill probably never finish it", i just bitch slapped myself because baby, im done. I cant believe i was able to see greatness in that terrible sketch, but im glad i did. I resketched it in photoshop, ad then stopped working on it for like a week. Eventually i inked it in photoshop later and decided to color arvalis. Then of course i stopped for another week. After that i went into full production mode. I worked pretty solidly everyday this last week on(with the exception of saturday and sunday because i was playing brawl). So i effing earned some praise on this picture.

I put a shitload of work into each character. The quickest one to color was arcus and it took 8 hours. Spektre took the longest at 16 hours to color *dies*. I went in a counter clockwise pattern for coloring because i was dreading coloring corrina. This is a brand new concept, so i didnt really have the colors set for her. Luckily one of my turbo awesome friends, *super-ninja-monkeys came through with a great color idea after i said i wanted the theme of green. This is also the first time i ever colored javelin. So i ultimately decided on a theme of purple for him, i think he looks pretty badass personally.

So another thing i was dreading was the background, because to be honest i had no idea what i wanted. Ultimately i went with some green light/fire like that which lines arvalis. Arvalis is the only one who has the green lighting because it makes him stick out, as he is the central protagonist of the story. I thought about lighting the others this way, but i felt it was more symbolic this way.

I spent way long on this, i really hope you guys like it. Here's hoping for a Daily Deviation, this is the only picture ive ever drawn that seems worthy of one. Oh yeah no heavy critiques please, i like it too much to start hating it, and i know it has flaws, just dont remind me
